  Our small groups ensure every rider gets the attention they need. Instructors tailor coaching to each skater’s experience—whether they’re brand new or already advanced.

With helmets required and full pads (knee, elbow, wrist) highly recommended for all campers, your child can learn new tricks while mitigating injury risks. Our experience shows that kids who wear full protective gear progress faster,  have less injuries, have more fun, and build the confidence to push themselves further.

• Perfect for All Ages & Skill Levels: Whether your skater is 6 or 16, beginner or advanced, we’ll place them in the right group to ensure they feel challenged—but not overwhelmed. We’re proud to work with even younger kids, as long as they’re ready to engage in a 3-hour, high-energy group learning session.

Camp Details:

• When: Daily, 9 AM - Noon

• Who: Ages 6 & Up recommended, All Skill Levels Welcome

• Where: 3rd Lair Skate Park, Golden Valley, MN

• Cost: Non-refundable, with options for switching weeks or applying credits for future sessions in case of emergencies.

Camp Levels:

• Level 1 – Brand New: Never stepped on a skateboard? We’ve got you covered! Learn the basics from the ground up.

• Level 2 – Beginner: If you’ve tried skating but don’t feel comfortable in a park yet, this is where you’ll gain confidence and skills.

• Level 3 – Intermediate: You’re in control of your board and ready to hit the park with confidence. We’ll help you polish your technique and try some new tricks!

• Level 4 – Advanced: For those who are fully comfortable riding in a park, dropping in on ramps, and ready to perfect the fundamentals.

What to Bring:

• A High-Quality Skateboard: Avoid frustration with poor-quality gear. We recommend a skateboard purchased from a reputable skate shop for the best learning experience.

• Helmets & Pads: Helmets are required for safety. Full pads are highly recommended for quicker progression, more fun, and fewer injuries.

• Water Bottle: Stay hydrated! We’re working hard, and the summer heat can be intense.

• Comfortable Clothing: Wear pants or tall socks, and don’t forget closed-toe athletic shoes!
