Skateboard Camp FAQ

Yes, we work with riders of all experience levels, including first-timers.

We do not have an age minimum, but we recommend 8 years old as a good starting point. If your kid is younger, please give us a call at 763-797-5283 to discuss getting them into the camp.

We have plenty of rental boards, pads, and helmets. These are all free to use when you are enrolled in skateboard camp.

We target a maximum of 8 - 10 kids per group.

We unlock the doors to begin check-in at 8:30 am.

Kids enrolled in the camp will receive 1 hour of complimentary open skate after camp wraps up (Noon - 1:00 pm). If they do not want to participate in open skate, they can hang out in the shop with our staff until a parent arrives.

During open skate after camp, we are a staffed facility but will no longer be actively supervising campers. If you feel that your child requires constant adult supervision, it is your responsibility to ensure an adult arrives by noon to supervise them. During camp hours (9:00 am - Noon), they are always in a group with their instructor.

We do not have an age maximum, but on average, campers tend to be between the ages of 8 - 15.

We have a shop onsite where we stock the largest selection of skateboards and safety equipment in the state. Our staff are all lifelong skateboarders who would love to get you set up with the right gear for your experience, riding style, terrain access, and budget.

Yes, on average girls make up 25% - 50% of the total kids enrolled in a camp.

Each year we hire a number of skateboarding instructors, including women. The mix will vary year to year and camp to camp depending on interest and availability.
