Girls Skateboarding Clinic

2026 Session #1

Camps and clinics are non-refundable.

This weekly instructional skateboarding program is designed specifically for girls and women of all ages and ability levels. It follows the same structure as our morning camps offered during school breaks, with an emphasis on fun, progression, and peer support.

Participants will be grouped first by experience level and second by age to ensure the best learning environment.

Skill Levels

  • Brand New:
    No prior skateboarding experience.

  • Beginner:
Some experience at home or public parks, but not yet comfortable navigating open skate at 3rd Lair.

  • Intermediate:
Confident and in control riding in a skatepark setting. Dropping in is helpful but not required.

  • Advanced:
Fully comfortable riding in a skatepark, able to drop in on most ramps, and has a strong foundation of basic skills.

Program Structure

This 5-week session keeps riders with the same group throughout the program (unless a participant is bumped up due to major progression).
We use a clinic-style station rotation system, giving every rider the chance to experience all areas of the park.

Dates

Mondays — January 5, 12, 19, 26 & February 2, 2026

If you're looking for a weekly program that helps improve skateboarding skills in a supportive, fun, peer-driven environment—this program is for you!

What to Bring & Important Guidelines

We are committed to providing the best instructional experience possible. Please review the following to help ensure your participant has a safe and enjoyable time:

1. Skateboard Requirements

Bring a real, functioning skateboard that rolls smoothly and turns properly.
Boards purchased from skateshops or specialty action sports stores are usually great.
Boards from big-box stores, general sporting goods chains, or many Amazon sellers often perform poorly, making it much harder for beginners to progress.
Low-quality boards can negatively impact confidence and overall experience.

2. Safety Gear

  • Helmets are required for all riders.

  • Full pads (knee, elbow, wrist guards) are highly recommended.

Riders who wear full pads:

  • Progress faster

  • Experience fewer injuries

  • Have a more enjoyable time overall

Skateboarding is physical—falling is part of the learning process—so protection is important.

3. Clothing & Shoes

  • Wear pants or tall socks to prevent scrapes.

  • Closed-toe athletic shoes are required.

4. Hydration & Health

  • Bring a refillable water bottle every week—it's warm inside and we work hard.

  • Administer any necessary medications before arrival.

5. Waiver

Please complete a new waiver for your participant, even if you believe one is on file.
Doing so helps keep check-in quick so we can start riding sooner.
